Lorencillo Miramar

Son de los hoteles que te ponen muchos requisitos para poder entrar, algunos de ellos se me hacen algo exagerados, ver el hotel está orilla de playa, nada más por eso me quedé ahí. Te piden depósitos, por qué sientes una toalla la tienes que pagar sin manchas una colcha la tienes que pagar si manchas una almohada la tienes que pagar, cualquier alimento lo tienes que pagar directamente con ellos, no te permiten utilizar sus palapas de la playa si no estás consumiendo con ellos aunque estés hospedado ahí. Cosa que en otros hoteles de mayor jerarquía no hacen, si tú te hospedas con ellos tú puedes utilizar las palabras y consumir lo que tú quieras. Tienen pago con tarjeta de crédito el estacionamiento es muy pequeño, lo que sí las personas se tratan muy amables, eso está muy diferente a las reglas que tienen ahí en el hotel, entre ellas también está que está prohibido fumar, dentro de los cuartos tienen frigobar y un horno de microondas, lo cual me parece muy bueno.

Ok, so I have to say there's a few good and not so good aspects to my recent visit to Hotel Lorencillo. I'd like to share both, so please read on. Though I didn't stay at the hotel, I did visit their restaurant and day-pass beach club. First thing, I went to Hotel Lorencillo's restaurant for breakfast this morning because I had read that it was pretty good. While the service and atmosphere was very nice, honestly the price and quality of the meal left me a bit disappointed. Cost for a plate of 4 Enchiladas Yucatecas, glass of orange juice and 2 coffees (apparently coffee refills are not free - not even one) was $280 plus tip. Or almost $20usd. Plus, the portion and taste of the food was not quite what I expected. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. That happens sometimes. Okay, so now for the good! Later the same day I came back to the hotel to get a day pass for the beach club (a girl at reception kindly offered this option) and I have to say I was extremely pleased! For $350, you get a wristband that gives you access to the beach-side pool, restaurant and the hotel's private palapas. Plus, they give you a $250 food and drink credit - you just pay for anything you order above that amount. (I went by myself, so check to see how that would work for a larger group. Also, no outside food or drinks are allowed, and curiously, there are no prices on the drink menu - a bit odd). My final total for a huge margarita, a michelada and order of freshly-made guacamole was a little over $250 (a 15% tip is included). I thought that was pretty reasonable and the quality was excellent! I spent the entire afternoon (day passes are available after 12pm) at one of the palapas with very friendly and attentive service, towel, comfortable chairs and nice view of the beach and ocean. I LOVED it! And the stretch of Playa Miramar here is absolutely gorgeous - spotlessly clean with powder-soft sand and crystal clear, torquoise water. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time and am already making plans to come back next week - I highly recommend the beach club at Hotel Lorencillo!

Muy buen hotel, excelente atención al cliente, siempre serviciales, la comida 10 de 10, el hotel tiene acceso a la playa, si acaso el único pero sería que la cama para dos personas es un poco chica pero todo lo demás muy bien. Te cobran 1000 pesos por si algo sucede en tu habitación pero mientras seas responsable y respetuoso y la habitación quede bien, te devuelven el dinero.

I didn't book a room, my wife and just wanted to try different restaurant for dinner and we found this hiding gem! Service was outstanding, food was awsome! Home made taste cant beat that. We even went back next day to have breakfast. Prices are VERY reasonable, I will definitely come back again!

My visit to Lorencillo Miramar was a tranquil escape filled with breathtaking views of the ocean. Impeccable service from the staff made me feel welcome and cared for throughout my stay. Dining at the on-site restaurant was a delight, with delicious seafood dishes complemented by refreshing cocktails. It was a memorable experience I won't soon forget.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room I had was perfect for me and my dog which was by the way one of the only hotels I could find that was pet friendly. My room had a balcony that faced the road so there was constant noise from passing cars and trucks. I was happy that the tv had English options for me to watch and I was able to watch American football. My two issues were with how incredibly firm the bed was. My back was not able to handle such a hard bed and the wristband all guest have to wear. But every thing else about the room and location was perfect. There is even a restaurant connected and a small store 20 ft away. The staff were friendly and accommodating and welcomed me and my dog without issue.

Great view, clean rooms, bed was made with clean linen's everyday during our stay and always fresh towels. Clean area also awesome pool view and clean. Thank you
